A New York Times article is stating that a bad marriage may raise your heart disease risk.

This seems in line with previous reports which state marriage is actually good for your health. Most likely the bad marriages contribute to increased stress which in turn may raise blood pressure and affect bodily health.

Many people would agree that staying in a bad marriage affects more than just the emotions and research has now proven it.

In situations where the marriage is irreconcilable, sometimes it is best to consult with a licensed divorce attorney to see what options are available to you.
