It’s a shame that laws have to be in place forcing people to pay for the support and maintenance of their children. As a news story is reporting, it’s becoming harder and harder to avoid child support.

Another example of how child support is becoming inescapable. An international meeting of countries met in Hague Netherlands to hash out cooperation to make it easier for countries to enforce child support in other countries.

The Hague convention typically controls how international treaties and laws work. The United States does something similar amongst states in the union. There is no escape when an individual moves to another state. Now with the institution of the Hague convention regarding child support, individuals who move to countries in the European Union, Brazil and some Asian countries will still be required to pay child support.
